    The 1999 Nigeria elected governors by States, governors candidate were elected through their PARTY. But the highest elected party is PDP ( people Democratic party) follow by APP ( All Nigeria people PARTY) follow by AD( alieance of democracy)

    There are 21 governor that was elected in 1999 in PDP (PEOPLE DEMOCRATIC PARTY) while 9 were elected in APP(ALL NIGERIA PEOPLE PARTY)and 6 were elected in AD (alieance of democracy)

    Some of elected candidate in 1999 governor were died like muhammed lawal as elected in APP party in kwara State While some were still alive.
