List of WAEC CBT centres in Delta State WAEC is preparing to launch Computer-Based Testing (CBT) across all states, and Delta State is gearing up for the reform. From Asaba to Warri and Sapele, schools in Delta are expected to begin transitioning from traditional written exams to digital platforms.
WAEC’s goal with CBT is to enhance exam credibility, speed up result delivery, and align with global best practices. Delta’s well-established school system puts it in a strong position for early adoption, particularly in urban centers with ICT infrastructure. However, rural schools will also be supported with phased implementation strategies. Students are encouraged to develop computer literacy and typing skills, while teachers are advised to begin using CBT practice tools.
WAEC has announced trial CBT sessions and training programs to ease the transition. Delta residents need to know, including candidate requirements, school responsibilities, exam software compatibility, and digital readiness efforts.
