List of WAEC CBT centres in Kogi state. Kogi State is one of the regions included in WAEC’s strategic shift to Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for its school certificate exams. This reform aims to digitize the exam process, eliminate malpractice, and speed up result processing. Schools in Lokoja and across the state must now start integrating digital tools into their curriculum to align with the new WAEC standard.
WAEC has confirmed that CBT mock tests and training programs will be introduced in phases, and pilot centers will be established in selected schools. Kogi students are advised to begin learning how to navigate CBT platforms, while teachers should adopt ICT-based teaching strategies.
The Kogi State Ministry of Education is also expected to play a role in assisting schools especially those in underserved areas with digital readiness. Kogi WAEC candidates, school owners, and parents regarding the CBT rollout, including timelines, software compatibility, and preparation guidelines.
