List of WAEC CBT centres in Kwara State, WAEC’s transition to Computer-Based Testing (CBT) is gaining ground across Nigeria, and Kwara State is actively preparing for implementation. Schools in Ilorin and surrounding areas are being encouraged to upgrade their ICT facilities and prepare students for digital exams.
The new CBT model will replace handwritten exams, ensuring quicker result delivery, enhanced exam security, and modernized assessment standards. WAEC has announced plans to conduct pilot CBT sessions in select schools before full implementation in 2026. Teachers will undergo training in CBT facilitation, while students will take part in mock exams to familiarize themselves with the format.
Kwara’s government is also expected to provide support in scaling digital infrastructure, especially in public schools. Students must begin practicing with CBT tools, developing typing speed, and adapting to digital test formats. Kwara covers all aspects of the upcoming WAEC CBT, from training resources to digital exam readiness and center accreditation updates.
