In 2007 Imo State governorship election, election was the 6th governorship election of Imo State. The Progressive Peoples Alliance nominee Ikedi Ohakim and his running mate LADY DR. ADA OKWUONU won the election with the total number of 749,800 received vote by defeating Ifeanyi Ararume with the total number of 309,273 candidate From the People’s Democratic Party. The total number of registered voters was 1,372,975
